A better way to manage your property
For years our business has been rooted in Central Florida real estate and we have seen first hand how important it is to hire a quality property management company. This was the inspiration for us to develop Teak Management! Anyone can pay a property manager to look after their home, but managing the details, ensuring the home is well maintained, inspected, and your tenants are happy, sets Teak Management apart from the crowd.
What Your Property Manager Should Be Doing
Periodic monitoring and inspections of the property
Accounting for rents, expenses, security deposits and regularly reporting to the owner
Advertising and marketing plans for obtaining the right tenants;
Procedures for qualifying tenants and background checks;
Making repairs and correcting adverse conditions on the property;
Documenting and responding to tenant inquiries, and requests to the owner
Handling tenant defaults and evictions.
As with any contract, it is important to be as specific as possible with respect to the duties and responsibilities of each of the parties so that the expectations are set from the beginning, and then confirmed in the management agreement.
